1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using TripRiff (the "Service"), operated by Good Work Dojo LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Good Work Dojo LLC. You represent that you are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Account Registration and Security
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at tripriff@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
We reserve the right to disable any account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may not create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or transfer your account to another person without our written consent.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including travel data, notes, reviews, and photographs ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Good Work Dojo LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purposes of providing, improving, and promoting the Service.
You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the necessary rights to submit your User Content; (b) your User Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party; and (c) your User Content does not contain any material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or related systems or networks
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, collect data from, or interact with the Service without our written permission
- Impersonate another person, entity, or falsely claim an affiliation
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code designed to interrupt, damage, or limit the functionality of the Service
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam
- Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures of the Service
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of your account without notice or refund.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, user interface, features, functionality, source code, algorithms, graphics, logos, and branding (collectively, "Service IP"), is owned by Good Work Dojo LLC and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works based on the Service IP without our prior written consent.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Google OAuth, Apple Sign-In, Supabase, and Vercel. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of third-party services, and you agree to hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of such services.
7. Travel Information Disclaimer
The Service provides travel recommendations, statistics, and informational content for entertainment and personal tracking purposes only. This information does not constitute professional travel advice, safety guidance, or endorsement of any destination. Travel conditions change rapidly, and we make no representations about the safety, legality, or suitability of any destination.
You are solely responsible for researching travel advisories, visa requirements, health precautions, and safety conditions for any destination. We disclaim all liability for any decisions you make based on information presented in the Service.
8. Disclaimers and Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, data, recommendations, or information provided through the Service. Geographic data, country statistics, and cultural metrics are sourced from third-party datasets and may contain inaccuracies.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Good Work Dojo LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, business interruption, personal injury, or property damage, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the greater of fifty United States dollars (USD $50.00) or the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Good Work Dojo LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of any third party.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent or illegal activity, or extended periods of inactivity.
Upon termination: (a) your right to use the Service immediately ceases; (b) we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy; and (c) provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including Sections 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in the State of Delaware, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Good Work Dojo LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and understandings, whether written or oral.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may also provide notice via email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
